I realize this is a late response but is there anything after the secret level or is that all you're referring to? I beat the maze a second and third time but I didn't notice anything changing with either the gameplay or maze (aside from the red block)
I will admit this game is short, but the sneaky addition of an extra level is a concept I find to be fascinating. If you, or anybody for that matter, made that into a mechanic of an actual game, you could do SO MUCH to mess with, youtubers, gamers, theorists, and lorehunters.
Not only do I give you props, I also give you a person who you can come to for story ideas. (I doubt you'll ever need me though)

You didn't even play the rest of the game. There's more to It than just that one exit. There's a second way out, and that adds more to go by. It's a sneaky little trick, but one I find to be impressive.
